A close-knit real estate community with a tight-knit circle of thought leaders has formed on the career platform LinkedIn. assetbird has once again identified the profiles in the DACH region with the most followers and the highest activity levels in the industry. Who’s on the list?
Prof. Dr. Thomas Beyerle illustrates just how important the career platform LinkedIn is for many executives. Every week, the thought leader at Catella Property Valuation GmbH posts updates there on the latest market figures. Beyerle publishes new market analyses, shares experiences from his daily life, and regularly appears on camera or on stage.
As in many other industries, a close-knit community has formed within the real estate sector on LinkedIn—featuring a tight-knit circle of thought leaders. In addition to Prof. Dr. Thomas Beyerle, these include Dr. Hans Volkert Volckens from the consulting firm Blacklacke and Happy Immo Club founder Anais Cosneau.
Based on its own survey, assetbird has identified a total of 30 regularly active profiles from the real estate industry (table) that are followed by a particularly large number of LinkedIn members.
To put this into perspective: The sheer number of followers alone says little about how active or influential a person is within the network. For example, there are profiles with just a few thousand followers who post frequently, and there are those who rarely publish content but have apparently built up a very large network of contacts. Nevertheless, the size of the network does, of course, carry a certain amount of significance.
Jan-Hendrick Goldbeck is the undisputed leader of the rankings. As CEO of the GOLDBECK Group, he has built a following of nearly 55,318 members. He is active on a regular basis, sharing updates on his company’s construction progress and occasionally sharing little anecdotes from his life.
His closest competitor is also quite active on social media. With around 36,261 followers, Hubert Rhomberg is just behind in second place. He is the founder of Rhomberg Holding.
In third place is another familiar face in the industry: Anais Cosneau.
